When did you join Acronym?
I joined Acronym in July 2010!
What is your title at Acronym and which Clients do you work for?
As the EVP of Product Development, I work on almost all of Acronym’s clients in some capacity.
What are your specific responsibilities?
I lead the Tech team – and even occasionally get to get my hands dirty with code or database work.
What do you consider the most interesting things you do at work?
Researching new algorithms and optimizing SQL are what get me the most excited!
What do you like to do best when you are not working?
Reading with my children, singing (I’m a baritone but singing tenor in my current choir), reading a good book (fantasy, sci-fi, or philosophy), and play piano (amateur at best but it’s a lot of fun).
You are going on vacation to a place where there is no Internet connection. What book or magazine would you bring with you?
Even with an internet connection I typically bring a good book to read. When I worked from the office every day, you could find me reading in the lounge during lunch. As to book choice, I would lean toward a classic fantasy (Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings or Silmarillion) or philosophy (I favor Ancient/Medieval philosophy like Aristotle, Augustine, and especially Aquinas – the subject of my almost PhD).
