Selina_295x175Acronym is excited to announce that CEO Selina Eizik has been recognized by Direct Marketing News (DMN) as one of 2016’s 40 Under 40 “masters of marketing.”

Selina joins 39 other leaders in the marketing industry who, according to DMN, have embraced the tidal shifts toward technology and data-based marketing strategy that customers now demand…

“This genuinely caught me by surprise!” said Selina.  “To be recognized by an influential news leader like the DMN is validating. We spend so much time focused on innovating data technology for our clients’ search and digital campaigns to have a greater impact. This is humbling, I am thrilled.”

Selina joined Acronym as employee number two in 2001 and has been the CEO of Acronym since 2012.  She holds a Bachelors of Science in Management and Concentration in Information Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Masters from New York University. Today Acronym is one of the largest independent search agencies in the country.

Acronym President and COO, Michael Bruh commented:

Selina is unique among agency CEOs in that she has held every position at Acronym, including Paid Search Strategist, Account Manager, Director, VP, COO and now CEO. Along the way, she launched every department within the agency. Where most CEOs focus only on finance and growth, Selina’s background allows her to also be hands-on and dig deep into the data to help drive client strategy, which she personally loves..

On Thursday, September 29, DMN will celebrate this luminary group of young marketing professionals at their annual 40 Under 40 event at The Dream Downtown in New York. Profiles featuring the winners, including Selina will appear online and in an upcoming issue of Direct Marketing News.

Congratulations, Selina. Your entire team is hugely proud of you!
